How Christ orders and cares for his church
Pastors, Elders, and Deacons
Jesus gave the church Pastors, Elders, and Deacons to teach, lead, and care for his people. Our ruling body, made up of the Pastors and Elders, is called the Consistory. The Deacons meet to address the physical and material needs of our members. When the Pastors, Elders, and Deacons meet together it is called the Council.
United Reformed Churches in North America
We are part of the United Reformed Churches in North America, a federation (denomination) of churches governed by a Church Order. The churches work together to fulfill the Great Commission — strengthening churches through prayer and fellowship, planting churches across the USA and Canada, and sending out missionaries around the world.
